Dario Bautista Guzman

Dario believes everyone should be jealous of his job. He has worked with horses for over twelve years as a personal groom, caretaker, and grounds keeper. He first met Heather six years ago when he began helping her at horse shows at the Colorado Horse Park. 

Although he has worked with many other horse owners, Dario says his greatest pleasure has been working exclusively with Heather Chenault and In Deo Acres. His greatest pride is working with the In Deo Acres team and believes each person and horse is special and kind. 

Dario believes the most important part of his work is keeping the horses cared for while creating a deep connection with each of them. He says that each horse has a unique personality, with specific wants and needs. Dario enjoys getting to know each horse’s individual personality and making sure that each horse is cared for in the best way for him or her as an individual. Horses are truly a part of who he is. 

While Dario rides horses a bit, he prefers to keep them clean and happy for competitions and training.

Dario is originally from Guatemala and Mexico. Before coming to Colorado, he worked as a horse show groom in Park City, Utah, parts of California, and Florida. He currently lives in Parker, Colorado with his wife Rosa, 15 year old son Dario, and 12 year old daughter Karen.
