Heather ChenaultHeather owns and operates In Deo Acres. She is passionate about caring for horses, and managing her own barn has been a lifelong dream come true. She has been married for eighteen years and has two beautiful children, six amazing horses, two adorable pot-bellied pigs, and one rather opinionated rat terrier. Heather is an amateur rider who enjoys competing with the In Deo Acres show team, and she is especially excited to look after the horses as well as organize the show schedule for the In Deo Acres show team!
Heather was born and raised in Colorado. Horse crazy from the get go, Heather owned her first horse when she was just seven years old. As a child, she showed in western pleasure, trail courses, barrels, and pole speed classes through the American Quarter Horse Association. After taking a hiatus from riding, Heather began riding again when she was thirty-two years old. Just a year after starting back up, Heather began taking English riding lessons. She quickly developed a passion for competing in hunter, jumper, equitation, and medal divisions. In 2014 Heather was the Pre-adult End of the Year Champion and Third in the Columbine Adult Medal Finals. In 2013 she was the Pre-adult End of the Year Reserve Champion. Heather looks forward to many years of fun and success with the In Deo Acres team! |
